BuildMyRes (“we”, “us”) provides resume and cover letter tools at buildmyres.com. This policy explains what we collect when you use the service and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you create an account we store your email address and any profile details you add, such as your name or profile photo. Documents you create or upload—resumes, cover letters, and related files—are stored so you can edit and download them. If you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe; we receive subscription status and limited billing metadata, not your full card number. If you use Interview Prep, we store the job description and session answers you provide for that feature.

How we use it

We use this information to run your account, save your documents, process subscriptions, send sign-in codes, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to protect the service. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Sharing

We share data with the processors who help us operate the service, including hosting, authentication, file storage, and Stripe for payments. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Your choices

You can update profile details in Settings and delete documents you no longer need. To ask a privacy question or request account deletion, contact us from the email address on your account.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top of this page will change when we do.
