These terms apply when you use BuildMyRes at buildmyres.com, including creating an account, editing resumes or cover letters, and downloading files. By using the service you agree to these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must provide accurate information when you sign up and when you pay for a subscription.

Your content

You own the resumes, cover letters, and other content you add. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and export that content so the product can work—for example live preview and PDF or Word download. Do not upload material you do not have the right to use.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to break into other accounts, disrupt the site, or use BuildMyRes to create unlawful or deceptive documents. We may suspend access if these terms are violated.

Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid plan. Charges are processed by Stripe. Plan details, renewals, and cancellations are shown in Settings. Fees already paid are not refunded unless required by law.

The service

BuildMyRes is provided as-is. Templates, previews, and downloads should help you present your own experience; you are responsible for the accuracy of what you send to employers. We may change or discontinue features.

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Cookies are described in our Cookie Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The date at the top of this page will change when we do.
